As we all know this marvelous website called "You Tube," along with now, many others places offering the same service , is a World Wide Experience and on ithese channels you can find no end of different films from all over the World, even some that may have come, or depict coming from outside our own World. I love this short film, and although I am not to sure what it means I do know that the music and colours are brilliant.
I am hoping that throughout these pages I will be able to bring small films from many of the different countries, and especially ones that are in their own language.
Haoma is the Avestan language name of a plant and its divinity, both of which play a role in Zoroastrian doctrine and in later Persian culture and mythology. The Middle Persian form of the name is hōm, which continues to be the name in Modern Persian, Pashto and other living Iranian languages.
THE WORLD IS ROUND!
Now I'm sure you all know this but on September 20, 1519 five ships, The Trinidad, San Antonio, Victoria, Concepcion and Santiago, under the command of Ferdinand Magellan, set out to travel west, from Spain and return from the east. News of the terrors and dangers of the journey - through the empty Pacific, the
difficulties of finding fresh water and food, the strange cultures of
the natives - only served to increase the fascination with new horizons.
Magellan himself was to lose his life en route in 1521, and it was delCano who brought the single surviving ship back to Spain in September 1522.
The expedition members had suffered mutiny and desetion, disease and famine, attacks by natives, even involvement in local wars, and the treachery of supposed allies but they had proven the the Spice Islands could be reached by sailing west. However they concluded that the length of
the voyage made it unecomomic, but they however proved that the World
was round and it was possible to sail around her.
The
Victoria and Trinidad made it to the Spice Islands, but only the
Victoria sailed on to make it back to Spain and to prove to the World
that a round trip on water could be made. For lots more information on
Indonesia and her surrounding countries ,look to the left where

Here is a puzzle for you to solve
Sherlock Holmes was in his study with Watson, when he received a hand written message. Watson read the message.
"Someone has sent you a coded message Sherlock," he said handing the letter to Holmes.
"Watson quick we must go, hurry! The message is from Bill and we have to stop him somehow"!
Can you tell me what the coded message said?
The answer is on the "Interval Page."

ONCE UPON A WORLD
It
is going to take me quite some time to find all the countries in the
world of 2015 and all the history before this brand new year, and who
knows by the time I do finish some places they might not be there any
more. There is an awful lot of squabbles going on in our beautiful world
at the moment and nobody seems to be able to sort it out.. SO I am
asking you all to say your prayers at night to your God, and ask for
some help in these troubled times. I am sure they wil hear what you are
saying and hopefully nothing will change, well only for the better
anyway.
Our
World is a very big place you know. Many of us don't yet understand
just how big it is. But it is ours and we must all do our best to help
look after it. Here is a map for you to look at. See if you can find where you live on it.
You can't see the names of all the countries can you, not really. So what I
shall do is make one page that will have maps of many countries,
hopefully one of them will be your own. If you can't find it , then I
think it would be good to send me and email to; I wonder if you could
ever believe that this was how it was in the very beginning, with no
poles to speak of just lots of land which is why so many animals have
been found in so many different places for millions and millions of
years ago the old dinosaurs, sabre tooth tigers, mammoths, even the
little Lemmings could wander about unrestricted, as we shall learn as we
travel from page to page and country to country. I wonder if you could
find out what is the oldest form of life your country has unearthed.

if you want and I'll put your email on your page.

I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF MAKING SOME OF THESE TO TAKE TO MY GRAND KIDS
BEFORE GOING ON HOLIDAY, YUMMY YUM.
for that Chicken Pox Party or just for fun
Ingredients
Strawberries
Pancake mix
Bananas
Powdered sugar
Tools Knife
Cutting board
Mixing bowl
large Flat skillet
Spatula
Plates
Method
With an adult’s help, chop the berries into small chunks, allowing one or two per pancake face. Set aside.
With an adult’s help, prepare the pancake mix according to package directions.
When the pancakes are done, place each serving in a stack on a separate plate.
For every two stacks of pancakes, you need to peel one banana.
Carefully slice off the two ends and put one on top of each stack for a nose.
Then cut two thin slices from each end for eyes. then cut banana in half for a long curved mouth.
Arrange the strawberry chunk chicken pox all around each face. Use clean fingers to drop a pinch of powdered sugar on each pox for a tasty bit of pus.
Serves as many little polka dotted people as your heart desires.

THE PIRATE SHIP BY STEPHEN SOUTHWOLD
We launched our ship upon the wave, My hardy crew and I, We grazed the bar – a narrow shave - Then raised our flag on high.
And, underneath our pirate flag, We sailed the seven seas ; We skirted Michael’s towering crag, But bumped the Pyrenees!
We took a galleon near the line ; We sacked a town in Spain, We raided palace, camp, and mine; We ruled the Spanish Main.
We fought great fleets from everywhere,
With cutlasses and dirks, And twenty five princesses fair We rescued from the Turks.
The sea, our play-room floor; The pirate ship’s a bath as well ; The harbour-bar the door!
My crew are Tom and Jack and Nell,
The
wonderful Stephen Southwold, one of the many names he used during his long career in writing. But it is mainly as Stephen Southwold that the
children that read his wonderful poems and rhymes. He used quite a few
other names when his birthdays took him past the children’s tales and
into the adult story world, gone the fairies and the pirate ships, the
froggies and crocodiles, he now had to face the two world wars that
followed him though his mid life. But a brilliant writer writes on as
long as the world will keep on reading , but as usual time makes us
humans grow older and one day in 1964, he left this world to travel to
another where hopefully he is still writing wonderful stories, hopefully
for the children of the Universe.
Isn't the Bunk Bed Brilliant,
The page for the Pirates will be when we do "The Caribbian."
Easter biscuits recipe Serves 18
20 mins to prepare and 10 mins to cook, 30 mins to cool
Ingredients 200g butter, at room temperature 200g caster sugar 1 egg 400g plain flour
To decorate 250g royal icing sugar assorted food colourings
Place the butter in a large mixing bowl with the caster sugar. Using a
wooden spoon beat until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the egg
until well mixed, then gradually add the flour. Use your hands to bring
the mixture together to a stiff dough. Gather into a ball and chill for
30 minutes.
Heat the oven to Gas 4, 180°C, fan160°C. Roll out the dough on a work surface lightly dusted with flour until it's the
thickness of a £1 coin. Using an oval cutter (or a cardboard egg-shaped
template), cut out egg-shaped biscuits, using rolled out trimmings to
make more. Place on baking trays and bake in the oven for 6-10 minutes,
depending on size, until just golden brown.Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from the baking tray to cool completely.
To decorate, make up the icing as directed on the packet. Divide
between 3-4 bowls adding a little food colouring to each bowl. Place the
mixture into piping bags and decorate biscuits as liked - kids may like
to use sprinkles or sweets too.
These biscuits will keep for between one and two weeks when stored in a sealed cake tin.
Freezing and defrosting guidelines
Bake according to the recipe but stop before adding
decoration or icing if called for. Allow to cool completely. Wrap well
in clingfilm and tin foil (to prevent freezer burn) and freeze for up to
3 months.
Loosen the tin foil and clingfilm but leave to
defrost in packaging at room temperature for several hours before
serving. If you wish to serve the baked goods warm, place them on a
baking sheet for 10 minutes in a moderate oven.
If you wish to add icing or decoration, add them after the baked goods have fully defrosted and are at room temperature.
Once you see it,youcan’t unsee it.

CAT’S PARADISE:
A cat died and went to Heaven. God met her at the gates and said, "You have been a good cat all these years.Anything you want is yours for the asking."
The cat thought for a minute and then said, "All my life I lived on a farm and slept on hard wooden floors. I would like a real fluffy pillow to sleep on."
God said, "Say no more." Instantly the cat had a huge fluffy pillow.
A
few days later, six mice were killed in an accident and they all went
to Heaven together. God met the mice at the gates with the same offer
that He made to the cat.
The
mice said, "Well, we have had to run all of our lives: from cats, dogs,
and even people with brooms! If we could just have some little roller
skates, we would not have to run again."
God answered, "It is done." And the mice had a pair of beautiful little roller skates each.
About
a week later, God decided to check on the cat. He found her sound
asleep on her fluffy pillow. God gently awakened the cat and asked, "Is
everything okay? How have you been doing? Are you happy?"
The
cat replied, "Oh, it is WONDERFUL. I have never been so happy in my
life. The pillow is so fluffy, and those little “Meals on Wheels” you
have been sending over are delicious!"
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Blueberry Baked French Toast Casserole
Original Kaboose.com recipe and photography by Christina Stanley-Salerno
This blueberry filled casserole makes a great brunch recipe for a perfect holiday morning or any time you want to celebrate.
Ingredients
6 slices of sturdy, thick-cut white bread (about 1-inch thick)
2 teaspoons butter, for pan
8 large eggs
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup maple syrup
Cooking Instructions
Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. Arrange slices on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish, overlapping the slices.
In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon
and salt. Whisk until blended but not too bubbly. Pour mixture over the
bread slices, making sure to cover the bread evenly with the egg
mixture. Gently press down bread to insure that bread is fully
submerged. Sprinkle blueberries evenly over the top. Cover with foil
and refrigerate for 5 hours or best overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 40 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden. Serve with maple syrup.
This is just so yummy, I tried this as soon as my Kaboose came in my mail box. Fantastic.

Fly away home.
Your house is on fire.
And your children all gone.
All except the one,and that is little Ann,
For she crept under the frying pan.
THE FRYING PAN
I love our old frying pan very much;
It provides me with supper and brunch,
I eat quite a lot, and most of it hot,
Even when I'm having my lunch.
Of course, I can't make it myself, you know;
I need someone to stand by the ring,
I'm told it gets hot, and it burns quite a lot
When Daddy is doing our things.
I like Bacon and Eggs, add Fried Bread as well,
Fried Sausages, some Tomatoes! ( not keen. )
But the food I love best - yet I don't mind the rest!
Is Mushrooms with Beans, and MORE Beans.
Hi
kids, all these yummy things are great to eat, but do remember that too
many fatty meals are not really good for you, So make sure you eat your
five a day as well.
