An autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark,
located between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans, east of the Canadian
Arctic Archipelago.
And being as I have never been there or even read that much about it.... this is going to be of great interest to me and you. wow.
Gosh this is truly going to be a great adventure.
But first some music for you to listen to whilst I find good things that will entertain the young, middle aged and ancient people but already I have a problem for it sems there are many languages spoken here.
Greenlandic is an Eskimo-Aleut language spoken by about 57,000
people in Greenland (Kalaallit
Nunaat) and Denmark. There are three main dialects: West
Greenlandic (Kalaallisut), East Greenlandic
(Tunumiisut) and North Greenlandic (Inuktun).
West Greenlandic is spoken by 54,500 people in Nuuk, Sisimiut and
Kangerussuaq, is has been the official language of the Greenlandic
autonomous territory since 2009 - before then it shared official
status with Danish.
And now something from the older generation. xxx The global Pharrell phenomenon has reached Greenland, and a bunch of
people from Nuuk produced this version of Pharrell's "Happy" and shared
it with us.
Nuuk, "The tip", is the capital and largest city of Greenland, and the
seat of government for the Sermersooq municipality. It has a population
of 15,469, making it one of the smallest capital cities in the world by
population. I notice one thing straight away and that is that Greenland appears to be very white, Whereas Iceland is often very Green. hm m m.

A little bit about myself and my Sisters

Dr. Dodiddily is one of four sisters. First there is my sister Sylvia, she is the eldest and the smallest. Then there is my sister Toni(Amy)
she is two years younger than Sylvia, Toni lives in Kent. The next
one born in 1944 was Dorothy, yes my lovelies this is my real name. I am
three years younger than Toni. One more to come and that is my sister
Kathleen, she is the baby of the family and she is four years younger
then myself.
We couldn never hand our cloths down to each other, we were all very
different sizes, and anyone coming after me wouldn't have been able to
wear anything I was such a tom-boy and thing were worn out long
before Kath could have them.
This is a very old picture of the four of us taken in Coed Poeth in North
Wales, way back in 1952/3. Gosh I am an Ancient Dragon, aren't I ! xxx.
This
is myself and my sisters in 1979 just 26 years later, we are with our
mother who like myself was called Dorothy. We are from left to right
